This 2002 Ford THINK Neighborhood Electric Vehicle was parked at the Community Center in Sun City Center, Florida with a $4000 sale price on the windshield at the time.

The production of the THINK electric vehicles was halted in 2002 and at the time had a retail price set at $4,995 for a brand new out of the box.

Unlike most carts that have a 48 volt energy source, the Ford THINK came with a 72 volt energy source that had a max speed of 25 mph and the street legal model having a max speed of 35 mph.

The Ford THINK electric car line started with Ford purchasing Pivo in 1999, a Norwegian car maker, hence the creation of THINK Mobility, which specialized in electric battery-powered vehicles. But by 2002, Ford closed up shop and sold the company to KamKorp, a Swiss manufacturer.
